Grandma & Pappa Harley's

Well after the car incident. We made it back to Cando on Tuesday night. We ate Dairy Queen and a hot fudge sundae. Yummy

What a messy little eater!!
All tired after a bath and full belly. Sitting back and relaxing in the rocking chair.

Playing with old Fisher Price toys that my mom and uncle Ryan used to play with.

I think he just might be an engineer. Getting the plane all figured out.

Helping grandma husk corn for dinner.

Meet Hershey, my mom and Doug's Chocolate Lab Puppy.

Keegan taunting Hershey with his stick.

Grandma teaching him how to drive their Gem car.

Look at this face after the remainder of his chocolate sundae on Wednesday night. He is so independent these days.

Getting ready to go across security to head back to Boise on the plane. Keegan is sad to leave grandma.

But is reassured he will be seeing her soon.

Thanks for the wonderful visit!!!

I Wear My Sunglasses At Night

Keegan borrowing Uncle Paul's sunglasses. Nope they don't go on that way.

There you got it.

Styling the Canadian way. Oops forgot to remove the sticker.

Let's try out this pink pair.

Look, he did it all by himself!!

BBQ's

On Thursday we arrived in Canada. Only after getting pulled in at the border, thinking I was kidnapping my son. This time I had no letter from Brad, but a current passport and it wasn't enough. He let us go anyways after I threw some military jargon at him regarding Brad's position in the army in case he wanted to reach him. Next time I will get it right...
Checking out all of the people at Leslie and Bill's BBQ on Thursday.

Yes, Keegan is playing with a girls toy. Couldn't hide this from Brad.

Oh Canada, the flag the immigration officer gave to Keegan to stay entertained. Grandma tried teaching him Oh Canada and Eh, the whole time we were there. It just didn't stick!!

On Saturday we headed out to Hazelridge to see Lou and Lou at the Zoo. Well these days it's just a dog, cat, couple of horses and cows. Oh, can't forget the friendly mosquito's and fly's.
Keegan checking out Nash and Raider
Feeding the cows his sticks he found to play with.

Meagan getting to know one of the horses.
Showing his pipes.

Stuffing his face with twists cheese puffs.

Winnipeg Beach/Flo's Birthday

Keegan, my mom and I got to spend this visit seeing Flo & Del at the cabin in Winnipeg Beach. It's been ages since I have been out there. We were very lucky also to spend Flo's 70th birthday with her.
Flo and Del always spoil the kids.

Keegan showing them all of his tricks. This dancing guitar laying on the couch was funny. After it got done playing and dancing Keegan would clap after his performance.

Serving up some pizza for lunch.

I tell you what. This boy learns so quick. He must have seen his dad and I using a flashlight a time or two because he immediately started to shine it around on everything. That's my boy!!

Flo, Keegan, my mom and I took a walk down to the beach. It was a beautiful day, one of the warmest yet for them this summer. Keegan experiencing the soft, white sand of Winnipeg Beach. I spent days and hours swimming here when I was younger. I loved walking out thinking it was getting deep on me then poof, there was a sandbar and the water was back at your knees again. I have so many great memories there glad that Keegan got to experience a little of it.

Taking the plunge, clothes and all.

Swooosh, Swooosh!!!

Sinking our toes in the sand.

Next it's the hands...

He's going to be such a little fish.

Well now that his overalls are all wet, we decided to let him air out and run free.

Changed and waiting for dinner.

Just sitting back and enjoying the smell of BBQ steaks.

Keegan, Kim and I sitting down for a yummy birthday dinner.

Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Flo, happy birthday to you!! Hope you had a wonderful 70th Birthday!!!

Thanks to all of the kids and grand kids who made the trip there to spend her special day and allowed me and my family to see all of you. Missing you already!!!
