Happy Halloween

On Halloween day they had trick or treating at Kildonan Place Shopping Mall. That's where I used to be a mall rat. I thought it would be cute to dress Keegan up in his Giraffe costume to go get some CANDY, CANDY, CANDY.

Keegan not to impressed with what's going on!!!

What the heck is going on here!!

Cheese!!!

GRRR GRRR!!

SLURP, SLURP

Jill, Jade, Keegan and I all ventured out to go Trick or Treating. It was fun, since Jill and I used to go trick or treating as kids together in this area. We were only out for a half hour, but got TONS of candy. YUMMY for us!!!

The Forks

Jill, Jade, Keegan, my mom and I all went to the Forks. The Forks is a tourist attraction area in Winnipeg where the Red River meets up with the Assiniboine River. There are tons of shops, restaurants, and live entertainment. There is also a walking path that is along both rivers to take a stroll or bike ride. We took advantage of a little exercise that day. In the winter when the water freezes it becomes an ice skating park.

Who turned out the lights?

Out enjoying the fresh air

Trying to get Jill and Jade together for a picture. Jade isn't interested. She is having to much fun climbing and jumping off the edges of the walkway.

A Day at the Terry's

Keegan finally had the blessed opportunity to meet my second family, Flo and Del. He got tons of hugs and kisses. Of course, there was a huge gift bag for him to open and toys to play with.

Maybe he will be a football player when he grows up. Looks like he has handling the ball down pat.

Flo always goes all out for Halloween. Keegan had fun looking at all of the animated bats, vampires and witches that she had displayed. He wasn't to sure what to think when we pressed the buttons to make them talk and move. Just a little hesitant. They were a little freaky. However, he loved this vibrating, singing ghost that sang a Halloween song. He just got this huge smile on his face that didn't go away until the song ended. Even when at home now we play it and he smiles as big as ever.

Grandma getting more snuggle time in.

Keegan's favorite part of the day was hanging out with papoos. He really didn't want to go to anyone else at times. He loved Del carting him all around and showing him new things. The only problem is that he weights a ton and your arms get pretty tired of holding him.

All worn out...

I'm so proud of you...

Thanks Flo & Del for my cute Lion Halloween Costume.

Andrea & Kaelyn

On Thursday late afternoon, Keegan and I went to visit mom's friend Andrea and her new little girl Kaelyn. It was the first time for us to meet Kaelyn. Keegan and her had fun talking baby, while Andrea and I caught up on life after children.

Look at all of Kaelyn's hair. She was born with this mane. What a beautiful little princess.

Visit with Brianna

Keegan and I arrived in Grand Forks, ND on Wednesday evening. We stayed with my goddaughter Brianna and her mom Becky for the first couple of days. Brianna loved finally getting to see Keegan. She LOVES babies and was estatic to play with a real one.

Brittany and Sam Chillin...

I decided that I would buy the girls Christmas presents early this year to save in mailing them. Brianna decided that it was also a good idea for her and Brittany to open them while I was there. She felt that it would mean more to see the expression on their faces when they opened the gift. How convenient!!! Of course, I couldn't pass it up. Brittany got the game Apples to Apples, while Brianna got a new potty baby.

Keegan & Bailey

Keegan has started scooting around and loves crawling over to Bailey. Bailey is so calm and allows Keegan to pet her.
