Keegan and Santa

While doing some Christmas shopping at the mall, I decided to have Keegan’s photo taken with Santa. The mall wasn't busy so the line to Santa wasn't long. However, it took some adjustment. First when we got there we previewed the scene. He freaked out seeing the moving Snowmen and started screaming. I was like, um this probably isn't going to go over to well. We kept doing drive by’s until he started to get used to seeing them and was like WOW. So finally, we did it. Took the steps to see him. He wouldn’t sit on his lap or sit next to him. When I sat down he was fine and the Elf played tricks with the stuffed animal so we could get him to smile. Afterwards they gave him this cute paper elf hat that he wore throughout the mall. Its was hysterical.

Where he is?

Then the next step was to climb up to the table and snag some mini peanut butter cups. He nicely unwrapped them and snacked on a few. Then proceeded to pick up his trash and throw it into the garbage.

Pretty sure he got his latest chocolate kick from his dad, he's a pro.

Oh Christmas Tree

All bundled up ready to pick out the BEST Christmas Tree.
Got another beautiful Noble Fir at Pollards this year. They are always so friendly to work with.
Doesn't quite look like Randy from The Christmas Story all bundled up. I'm sure he feels like it though with his puffy jacket.

The tree and all of it's decor. Now it's time to get wrapping.

Halloween Apples...

My weekend to work this Halloween but Keegan and I managed to sneak out for a bit before my shift. Wasn't too sure how he would do with the whole bandanna, but we managed to pull it off. Later he stayed home with dad and handed out candy to all of the kids in the neighborhood.
CANDY, CANDY, CANDY

Lookn more like a pirate in this one.

My biker dude, making daddy proud!!!!

Thanks to Gram for inviting us to the the New Hope Baptist Church Trunk or Treating festival. Keegan and I had a great time on the hayride, playing games, and of course going car to car for candy. Looking forward to see how he does next year when I don't have to work. Unfortunately these are all of the pictures I have from the time we were out since my camera battery died. My camera is about too. RIP.

The Farmstead

Taylor and I took the kids to The Farmstead on Meridian Road. There they have a corn maze and a area to go pick your own pumpkins. Plus food, hayrides and fun activities for the kids. Pretty sure we could have picked a warmer and less windy day, but either way we all had a great time.
Joe, Annabelle and Keegan all bundled up with their snacks. Next stop was the bouncy. Keegan as a little unsure about the big bouncy but after a bit he was raring to go. Not without letting go of my hand thought.

The kids trying to figure out their own miniature maze.

Keegan stops to take a break and play with the straw.

What a HUGE rocking chair. We all had fun sitting on this.

Trying to get the kids all to look at the camera and smile was a little more difficult,

so was getting my child to sit on my lap for a picture.

Hayride

Picking Pumpkins. We actually didn't get one since we had a pretty nice looking one from garden. However, we never did carve it. Fun project for us next year to try out.

Annabelle and Keegan trying to figure out who was gonna carry this back to the car.

Keegan taking a whirl at it. Nope, couldn't get it.

Boy in Motion

Who needs toys when you have plastic totes? He played in this for hours.

Brad and Keegan shooting the ducks out of the yard. It cracks me up every time they grab their guns and head to the door.

Keegan in his movie chair. CHEESE!!

Lounging, watching MO (aka Finding Nemo)

My almost naked cowboy, riding Rawhide and defending his territory.

Food Fun

I just LOVE it when kids put olives on their fingers to turn around and eat them off. This is exactly how Keegan is eating them these days.
Almost on each finger...

Gotta love those yummy sweet potatoes, except I think he enjoyed wearing them more.

Keegan mimicking his dad eating all of the meat off of the pork chop bone. What a good eater we have on our hands.

I agree with dad, this IS good stuff!!!!

Grandma & Pappa Harley's

Well after the car incident. We made it back to Cando on Tuesday night. We ate Dairy Queen and a hot fudge sundae. Yummy

What a messy little eater!!
All tired after a bath and full belly. Sitting back and relaxing in the rocking chair.

Playing with old Fisher Price toys that my mom and uncle Ryan used to play with.

I think he just might be an engineer. Getting the plane all figured out.

Helping grandma husk corn for dinner.

Meet Hershey, my mom and Doug's Chocolate Lab Puppy.

Keegan taunting Hershey with his stick.

Grandma teaching him how to drive their Gem car.

Look at this face after the remainder of his chocolate sundae on Wednesday night. He is so independent these days.

Getting ready to go across security to head back to Boise on the plane. Keegan is sad to leave grandma.

But is reassured he will be seeing her soon.

Thanks for the wonderful visit!!!
