Kendal Yvonne

November 15th, 2010 at approximately 3:20 my water broke. Told Brad who was given the day off it's time to roll. Keegan with his face full of orange Cheetos was put in the back seat, messy face and all. We were off to the races. Wondering how long it would take for us to get to the hospital and if we would make it. While Brad was driving he was calling everyone telling them "Thunder cats are go." Meaning it was time and I get in trouble for using my cell phone when I am driving. Hum mm. Sitting in triage waiting for a room.

Getting hooked up to the monitor. Was initially dilated to a 3 with regular contractions. Couldn't get up walking cause I was leaking amniotic fluid still with each contraction and they were worried cause her head wasn't engaged enough that the cord could prolapse out. At one point I was allowed to start walking but then she decided to be naughty and have a heart rate drop during a 2.5 minute contraction. After waiting 20 minutes I was doing laps. Well about 5 till the contractions were starting to get harder and harder. We made it back to the room where I had one more bad one, got super nauseated and felt like I needed to push. The nurse was called. I got checked at was at 6cm. me not tolerating the strength of contractions and didn't want to loose the ability to have an epidural the nurse anesthetist came in. First attempt was failed due to a super strong contraction, well and my husband needing to sit down. Got a little weak at the knees. Who's the patient now? Second attempt was in the right spot and barely felt a thing afterwards. Next thing you know I was completely dilated and ready to push. A few minutes later...

Kendal Yvonne Ineck arrived into the world at 8:51pm.
Proud Mommy!!
She weighed 6lbs 11 ounces and 20 inches long. Kendal was full of white cheese (Vernix)

Proud Daddy!!

Sucking on her fist rearing to eat.

She has a good set of lungs on her too.

Quick nap while under the warmer.

We got all situated up in the Mother Baby unit. Things were busy that night. Once Kendal's temperature was stable enough it was time to bring her to the nursery for a bath. At first she absolutely hated it. Then...

She loved getting her hair washed.

Wow, look at all of that hair she has...

Our beautiful little princess!!

The big brother came up the next morning to meet his new little sister. Not sure what to think at first, but she grew on him.

Trunk or Treat

Keegan and I went Trunk or Treating this year at Valley Shepard Church. We met the Histand family there. The kids went from vehicle to vehicle treating for candies. It was cute to see how decorative some of the trunks and people were.
Handy Keegan

All decked out with his goggles, tools and tool belt.

Mr Handyman, Miss Ladybug and Mr Buzz Lightyear.

Mic-key M-o-u-s-e, Mickey Mouse

Sugar high bring it on!!!

The kids decorated cookies and spent time petting some of the animals they brought in to see.

The Spidey Yost Kids

Keegan had a BLAST handing out candies to the trick or treating kids. He filled their bags and pillowcases by the handfuls. The kids were amazed to see how much he was giving out. He even growled at one of the older kids wolf costume when they came to the door. After his sugar high auntie Louisa read him a book gearing him up for bedtime.
Happy Halloween!!

The Departed

Every trip comes to an end... Grandma dropped us off at the airport. She then proceeded to help Keegan burn some energy before boarding the plane.

So BIG!!!

Ha, ha. I'm 2!!!

Still 2!!

He was one sweaty boy when we were getting ready to board. He managed to stay awake for the first 1 hour flight.
Our first plane to Minneapolis.

Keegan slept the second flight. Needless to say our 3rd flight to Boise he was raring to go. Kept him entertained well for the short flight but was completely mortified when he proceeded to puke all over the floor in the plane when we were taxiing. No puke bags in any pocket. Glad we had a trooper for our neighbor. What a highlight to the trip!!!
