2010 Ineck Family Reunion

Headed to Garden Valley for the 10th annual Ineck Family reunion. Rented a cabin with Matt and Beth that we have previously stayed in. Perfect option for those with young children, as opposed to camping in the rain and mosquito bites.

Ready to head to the family reunion in Garden Valley.

The four wheeler trip the first day. Made it 1/4 of the way. Keegan fell asleep and was OUT. I rode back to camp with Brad to help support him as he slept. Needless to say the second the 4 wheeler stopped he was awake.

Kayla enjoying some bonding time with MR. Smiles, David Thomas.

Our new nephew David Thomas

Wrestle mania!!

David taking the kids for a ride

Keegan spraying everyone with the water pistol as they drive by.

Grace riding 4 wheeler all by herself. Little Miss Independent!!

Brad and Keegan doing some dry floating.

Kayla and I leaving for the float trip with the rest of the crew. Beautiful day!!

All of the floating crew in our party. There were tons of us, tons of beverages and lots of squirt guns. Made for fun times!!!

Keegan and his partner Miss Plum playing the egg toss game. That didn't last long. Eeeewwww.... He continued playing games with the bigger kids, was just a little slower, but had a blast and looked pretty darn cute doing it.

Taking a break for a moment.

Boise Zoo

We spend a beautiful day at Zoo Boise, while my mom was in town visiting. There was no room in my vehicle for strollers, so we rented a cool stroller for the kids to ride in. It was like they were on a safari!!
Kayla volunteered to be in control of pushing the kids around.

The Giraffes finding some shaded area. It actually was one of the nicer days in the beginning of June.

Miss Grace styling in her shades. She wears them EVERYWHERE!!

I loved the new Wallaby walk through. Was neat to see the animals really close and in their habitat like area.

The penguin exhibit is also always fun to watch. They just kept swimming past the windows and looking out as though they were putting on a show for the kids.

Nibbling on some hair. Don't they eat fish??

Keegan trying to ride the penguin. No, it's dolphins you ride. How fun would that be!!!!

The zebra on it's way back from the other side to find a shaded area.

Time for a break and some lunch. Great picnic by the pond except it was filled with hissing, mooching Canadian Geese and poop.

Keegan loved this new exhibit where you could feed the goats. He was a little standoffish at first but once he figured it out there was no stopping him. I couldn't find quarters fast enough.

There you go, you got it!!!

The kids ended the day with the slide down the BIG giraffe. Who's gonna fall asleep the fastest now in the car?
Thanks for joining us Beth, Grace and David Thomas for a fun filled day and to Grandma for coming to visit all of us!!!

Silver City

Overnighter in Silver City when my mom was visiting. She has heard so much about this quaint little mining town, but never has experienced it for herself.

Kayla giving grandma the Silver City tour and showing off her 4 wheeling talent. They went on a couple good rides.

The back of Matt and Beth's Meat House. I just love the old buildings and structures.

Keegan helping daddy repair the doors to the house. Always has to follow along and have a tool in hand when daddy does.

Cool and the Gang!!

Swim Lessons

Keegan was put into swimming lessons again this spring. I went in the pool for his first lesson and he was just too much for me to handle, so Brad went in the water with him for the remainder for his lessons. I stayed on the sidelines for support and cheer squad.

Keegan just LOVES the water.

The whole back floating took some work, but eventually I think he became a little more comfortable with it. They sang Twinkle, Twinkle while floating on their backs.

Enjoying the water before one of his lessons.

His swim lessons consisted of songs with motions, jumping off the edges, swimming after things, floating on back and then going down to the shallow end for scavengering for items on the bottom of the pool. They also got to swim with life jackets and their last lesson they were given the option to go down the slide.

Soaking the daddy.

My flipper boy.

Ready, Set, Go!! Brad and I were a little hesitant with this. #1 that he would actually do it and #2 that he was ready for it.

WOOSH!! He did it like a champ!!

Conquered the slide. YEAH!!!! Even went down twice.
