Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve was spent traditionally at Taylor's parent's house. However, this year they are living in the Kwajalein Islands. Taylor and Rowdy put on a great feast instead at their house. The kids had a great time playing and opening presents while the adults visited and stuffed our faces.

Joe got his favorite gift of all a Tron.

An early Christmas with Kayla before she headed back to Twin. Here she was opening a remote controlled helicopter from grandma. She also got a sweet Aeropostale sweat outfit and a nice plaid winter jacket from us.

Keegan opened a present early from Grandma too. Perfect for playing in the dark in his secret closet.

All of the Ineck Clan came over for Christmas dinner. Adam and Adriane brought bouncy balls for all of the kids. Oh, what fun they had with these!!

It was the first Christmas dinner in the new house. We did things a little off tradition, but our tradition by making a yummy prime rib. Cooked to perfection.

It was great to have Adam and Adriane stay here with the kids for a couple of nights too while they were in town. The kids had a blast playing with each other and sharing the tub.

Grandma's Visit

Grandma came for another visit to see us and the new addition to the family. Time always goes by so fast when she is here and it always so busy. This year we had snow during her visit, so Keegan and her ventured out to make snowmen. Keegan absolutely LOVED it!!

It was time to decorate for Christmas. Keegan wanted to put the star on the tree to start us out. Just needed a little hoist up from dad.

Grandma loves reading stories to Keegan when she comes to visit. He always gets new books to read when she is here.

Kendal Yvonne

November 15th, 2010 at approximately 3:20 my water broke. Told Brad who was given the day off it's time to roll. Keegan with his face full of orange Cheetos was put in the back seat, messy face and all. We were off to the races. Wondering how long it would take for us to get to the hospital and if we would make it. While Brad was driving he was calling everyone telling them "Thunder cats are go." Meaning it was time and I get in trouble for using my cell phone when I am driving. Hum mm.

Getting hooked up to the monitor. Was initially dilated to a 3 with regular contractions. Couldn't get up walking cause I was leaking amniotic fluid still with each contraction and they were worried cause her head wasn't engaged enough that the cord could prolapse out. At one point I was allowed to start walking but then she decided to be naughty and have a heart rate drop during a 2.5 minute contraction. After waiting 20 minutes I was doing laps. Well about 5 till the contractions were starting to get harder and harder. We made it back to the room where I had one more bad one, got super nauseated and felt like I needed to push. The nurse was called. I got checked at was at 6cm. me not tolerating the strength of contractions and didn't want to loose the ability to have an epidural the nurse anesthetist came in. First attempt was failed due to a super strong contraction, well and my husband needing to sit down. Got a little weak at the knees. Who's the patient now? Second attempt was in the right spot and barely felt a thing afterwards. Next thing you know I was completely dilated and ready to push. A few minutes later...

Kendal Yvonne Ineck arrived into the world at 8:51pm.

She weighed 6lbs 11 ounces and 20 inches long. Kendal was full of white cheese (Vernix)
